Condition Grading

Condition Grading

We sell both new and pre-owned shirts, and every product is graded on a scale from 10 to 6, where 10 means perfect condition and 6 means visible wear. We always aim to sell shirts in the best possible condition, and in the rare cases where a shirt has flaws, this is stated in the grading and visible in the photos.

Our grading criteria

  • 10/10 and BNWT: Products in perfect condition. BNWT (brand new with tags) means completely new, with tags and never worn.
  • 9/10: Products in very good condition, with few or no signs of use. Looks almost new.
  • 8/10: Products in good condition, with possible minor signs of wear such as small loose stitches and a few pulls.
  • 7/10: Products in less than perfect condition, worn several times, with more pulls, minor damage and loose stitching.
  • 6/10: Products in acceptable condition, heavily worn, with several marks, pulls in the fabric and stitching that may have come loose.

Our grading also takes the age of the shirt into account. On a shirt that is 10 to 20 years old, some signs of use are expected and normal.

If you have questions about a grading, are unsure about a product or would like more photos, you are welcome to contact us at contact@classicgalery.com.
