Lionel Messi - FC Barcelona 2011/12 Home Shirt
This shirt represents one of the most incredible individual seasons in football history. In the 2011/12 season Lionel Messi wore this iconic FC Barcelona home shirt while setting record after record and delivering performances that still seem unreal.
Messi scored an incredible 73 goals and provided 32 assists across all competitions, the highest goal tally ever in a single European club season. He bewitched the football world with his acceleration, control, vision and deadly finishing.
Although the La Liga title slipped away, Barca won the Copa del Rey, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup, and Messi ended the year by winning the Ballon d'Or, his third in a row.
A shirt that symbolises not just a record breaking season but also a period in which Messi redefined what we thought was possible on a football pitch. A true must have for any fan of the little wizard from Rosario.
